This isn’t necessarily a bad thing - I kind of liked the way this keyboard sounded. Both the Apex Pro Mini and the Apex Pro Mini Wireless will come in US English, French, German, Japanese, Nordic, and UK English layouts, but the US English layout is the only layout available at launch.
